We have added pictures from August, September, October and part of November.  We did a lot of things over the past couple months and I know you all have been waiting for more pictures, so here they are.  I am also going to add a few videos to the Video page so check that out too.  Otherwise things are going good and Connor is really testing out the terrible two's before he even turns two.  He is also starting to talk a lot more and use his words.

Hey everyone, just got some time to post some more pictures. So these pictures are from June and July.  In June the pictures are from the pool and the Renaissance Faire in Corona that we went to.  The pictures from July are mainly from the Fourth of July.

I'll start working on posting some of the August pictures that we already have so they are not too old by the time I post them.

Here we go again.  The past two months have been hectic and busy.  We just got back from Amanda's brother Michael's wedding in Dallas, and got to spend some time with the family.  Before that we went camping in Calico, a ghost town in the california desert, swimming at Huntington Beach, hiking in Holy Jim Falls and all the week to week errands.  Crazy busy but it's been a lot of fun.

So, here are the pictures from the month of April and May.  I also added a couple of videos to the Video Gallery.

I just added the pictures from the rest of March.  Most of the pictures are from Easter weekend, but there are some other pictures from the Wiggles concert that we went to.  I'm working on getting some more videos uploaded to the site.

March 22nd, 2008

I just added pictures from February and the pictures from March of what we have done so far.

So, February was pretty low key.  We didn't end up doing much as Dad was busy putting in the new backyard turf and well pretty much the whole family was sick at some point in the month.  We did go to the Discovery Science Center to see Clifford the Big Red Dog and play with all the cool science experiments and stuff there. I think the dads had just as good a time there as the kids did.  Connor got a new booster chair and new hat.  The booster chair was actually supposed to be a naughty chair, but that didn't work so well.

March, so far, has been a little more exciting.  Last weekend we went down to the Laguna Beach Tide Pools to look at all the sea creatures.  We saw a bunch of crabs running around the place and then we all played on the beach.  Connor actually liked the sand this time.  The first time he touched sand he wanted to be picked up right away, but this time was no problem.  Connor and I also went to the park to give Mom a break one day and we took some pictures playing at the playground.  It was a really windy day if you can't tell.

I'll post more pictures of the Easter weekend and I'm trying to put together some more videos.

January 28th, 2008

A couple of weekends ago we decided that it was time to venture out to see some snow.  So we headed out one morning to Palm Springs.  I know Palm Springs to see snow, yeah right, but once you take the tramway to the top of the mountain there is tons of snow to play in.  At the top they have a huge snow play area for the kids with snowman building, sledding and hiking trails.  It was really cool to go up there and check it out.  So, here are some pictures from our time in the snow.

I have now added Connor's pictures from the last two months of his first year.  I'm a little behind and trying to catch up with all the pictures.

Connor's eleventh month was not that eventful, since he had chronic ear infections and finally had surgery to get tubes put in his ears.  We are so glad we did it because we can tell a world of difference between his hearing and he doesn't get as moany colds now.  Other than that we spent time at the park looking at the ducks and playing at the playground.

Connor's Twelfth month was very eventful.  He had his first birthday where he received a ton of presents and he ate cake for the first time.  He made out pretty well with all the toys and can't thank everyone enough for them.  Also, Papa was able to come out for his birthday that was great to have him here.  After his birthday, Christmas was right around the corner.  Oma came out to visit for the week and we had tons of fun.  We all went to Chuck E Cheese's.  So it was very eventful the month of December.

September 3rd, 2007 Update

I uploaded another video of Connor.  This one shows him walking around the house and laughing in his weird laugh.

September 3rd, 2007

So, I was able to get all the Eighth Month pictures loaded last night and posted them this morning.  If you didn't know by now, Connor is now walking.  He started talking his first steps about the beginning of August and started fully walking about mid-August.  He now walks all over the house and wherever we go.  If you try to pick him up while he's walking he throw a fit until you put him back on the ground.  He's so funny!  He also has started to make a lot more different facial expressions and wants to interact more with everyone.  He started to say MaMa and DaDa, and we're trying to teach him Bye, Bye.  He almost has it but not quite.

As you can tell by some of the pictures it has been hot out in Yorba Linda, California and so when we get a chance we like to go down to the pool in the community.  Connor loves the water!  He figured out how to splash, but doesn't like the water in his face.  He does like to lap the water up like a dog though.

I also added a video of Connor clapping his hands when you start singing "If your happy and you know it".  That's it for now.

September 2nd, 2007

I have just added some more seventh month pictures and have also included a video below.  I'm working on adding the Eighth Month pictures right now, but having some problems with the website.  So, I'll get them up as soon as I can.  Thanks!

July 22nd, 2007

Another month has gone by and Connor is growing bigger and faster every day.  If you didn't know by now, Connor is crawling all over the place and standing up and cruising the couch.  Today, He was holding on to my leg and then just let go and stood there for a good 10 seconds on his own.  A little more practice with his balance and he'll be taking steps and he's only 7 months.  He's a genius!

So, I decided to get away from the weekly pictures and do a group of photos for each month.  Here's the first of the month pictures.

So, it's 8:35 PM on Wednesday night.  Connor just went down to sleep, I've got the dishwasher running, I'm listening to Hard Times by Ludacris and updating the website.  And all that I can say is, "Whew."  This is the little time that we get to relax for just a bit, and it feels good.

I have been slowly updating the website for the past three days and can finally get some more pictures to everyone.  I ran into some problems last month when I tried to upload new pictures so I gave up and finally just got around to it again.  As some of you may know, last month we went back to Chicago for a friend's wedding and spent some time at Oma's (Grandma's, HAHA, that's funny writing that, Mom's a grandma, anyways).  We had a great time while we were there, but wish we had a little longer.  Next time, whenever that is. Connor did great on the flight.  He barely slept and he wanted to play the entire time, which is good, but I like to sleep on planes and that didn't happen.  Overall, the trip went way better than what I had expected.  Checking in was easy, security was a breeze and no screaming baby on the plane.  Awesome.

Anyway, Connor is now crawling all over the place and pulling himself up to things and standing.  You can see in the 25th week pictures how he now stands in his bed.  It is truly amazing how fast he learned to crawl.  It seems one week he was just laying there and now he's all over the house.  This morning when I dropped him off at daycare, they told me that he is crawling all over the other kids and playing with their faces and this afternoon he crawled outside to see the other kids.  He is so mobile!  I took a video of him crawling the other day, so I have to upload it to YouTube and then I'll post it to the website.

Other than this major milestone, Connor is eating the first stage of solid foods, which he seems to enjoy.  He doesn't like the fruits though.  He is more of a green beans and peas baby. Tonight, he had some chicken and rice and he liked that too.

Friday we have an appointment with the Dr. for his 6 month check-up.  He'll be getting a couple more shots and an overall examination.  I'm guesing that he will weigh in at 18lbs 6oz, but I'll let everyone know what the official weigh in is.

Anyway, I'm done for the night. It's 9:02 and I'm tired.  Enjoy the pics!

Alright, a couple hectic weeks have passed and we have some new pictures.  Connor has been doing very well.  Last week we noticed he had some really dry skin, so Amanda took him to the Dr. to find out that he has eczema.  They gave us some lotion and it's already cleared up and gone.  Trying to rub him down with lotion is no easy chore either and he likes to wriggle all around.

More recently he has been working his way on to his elbows and knees in a crouched position.  He gets up the that position and then starts rocking.  Sometimes he'll even strectch his legs and lift himself completely off the ground.  He is so going to be crawling soon.

Other than that, we attended the Toyota Celebrity Grand Prix last weekend and got Connor's picture with George Lucas (creator of Star Wars) and some playboy TV host.  It was a fun time while we were there.

April 7th, 2007

Alright, the sixteenth week and seventeenth week have gone by.  Connor is now four months old!  Holy Sh*t!

This past Friday we had to go to the Dr. for his 4 month check and immunizations.  He was showing off in front of the Dr., rolling all over the table and laughing and smiling until... he got his shots.  We had to hold him down on his back because he wanted to roll over on his stomach.  The nurse put the first shot in no problem, no cry, no nothing.  Then by the time she had pulled the needle out and went to the other leg the pain kicked in and he screamed.  He continued to scream for the next couple minutes,  if that, and then when we picked him up and took him to the car we was laughing and talking again.  Didn't really phase him. Tough little kid.

Today, he does have a knot in his right leg where the shot was.  The nurse said that would happen since he tensed up when she injected the needle. I made the mistake of rubbing his leg too hard this morning and he started to scream again.  OOPS!

Anyway, here's some new pics and I'll add more as we take them.

This past weekend my dad came into town to meet Connor.  He absolutely fell in love with him, who could blame him Connor is just so cute.  Connor laughed and cooed at him all weekend.  Only time Dad saw him really get mad was when he was in his car seat too long and he wanted to look out and check things out.

Connor's teeth have started coming in now.  He doesn't seem to be in any kind of pain and he's hasn't been cranky.  He still laughs and smiles all of the time.  When we put him on the floor he is getting really fast at his lazy crawl.  He has to be supervised at all times now!

We gave him his first "solid foods" this weekend.  We mixed rice cereal into his milk and tried feeding it to him with a spoon.  He didn't really know what to do and kept spitting it out.  I gave up and just put it in a bottle!  We're going to keep trying to feed it to him through a spoon.  He seems to really like the cereal, he gulps it down so fast.  It didn't help with him sleeping through the night yet, hopefully soon though!

Connor is growing up so fast.  It's amazing how much he will learn in just one day!  He has started what I call a lazy crawl about a week ago.  He uses his feet and hands to pull himself to where he wants to go.  If he is too tired to do that he'll just roll until he gets to his desired location!

This weekend he started figuring out that he can use different pitches in his voice.  His favorite one now is a high pitch, he screams at us all of the time using it!  It would be annoying if he wasn't so cute!!

WOW!  It's been a month already.  It amazes me how much time you really don't have to do things when you have a kid in the house.  I had visions of updating this website more frequently then I have, but just haven't been able to.  For example two weeks ago, I came down with the flu and was in no way capable of doing anything, then this week Amanda came down with the same thing.  It is a nasty virus going around, and I just hope Connor doesn't catch it.

As for Connor, he is doing great.  He continues to smile each and everyday and has been sleeping like a champ, but not through the night yet.  Just last night, I had him doing some tummy time and he rolled over.  It was amazing, so we got the camcorder and cameras and set him up again, and then he just laid there and screamed.  So, we're going to try again tonight.

Today, we ended up going to the Huntington Beach Dog Beach with the whole family.  We stayed there for about 20 minutes, because it was extremely windy and Connor wanted no part of it.  I didn't mind because I was starting to get a headache anyways, but the dogs loved it while we were there.  I posted some pics on the Dog webpage.

Anyway, keep coming back to check the website out, and please let me know if you guys want to see anything else on here.

I also have a webcam hooked up if anyway wants to chat on Yahoo Messenger.  Talk to ya later!

So, I finally got around to getting some more pictures up tonight.  It's been a couple weeks since I posted pictures last, so I put the last few weeks up.  Connor is really starting to pay more attention to things going on around him.  He watches us as we make funny faces to get him to smile and he watches TV like a true couch potato.  This week he's started to suck his fist and look at his hand.  I think he's trying to suck his thumb just hasn't figured out how to get his thumb.  He's also been kicking his legs around alot, I think he's getting ready to walk (maybe next week, Just Kidding).  All in all he's doing really well, and I'll keep posting so everyone can see his progress.

Happy New Year!  Sorry, I haven't posted pictures sooner, but we have just been too busy, I mean lazy.  The past week we just relaxed and took it easy while we were all at home.  So, I posted the second and third weeks pictures together.  If you want to see more Christmas pictures let me know and I'll send them too you.  Can you believe in two days Connor will be a month old.  Boy, how the time flies when a baby's screaming.

So, Connor is back at home and getting settled in before the hoidays and new year arrive.  He has been doing very well, and keeps Amanda pretty busy, since he is hungry all the time.  We went to the Dr.'s office today and he has gained 14 ounces over the past week.  Which is awesome.  He's gonna be a tank if he keeps gaining weight like that.  Overall, the Dr. said he's perfect and keep doing whatever we are doing.  He's been outside a couple times now for short walks through the neighborhood, and went to his first Christmas party last night.  He ate too much and passed out.  But here's some more pictures from his first week at home, and I'm working on getting some videos uploaded too.  Talk to Ya later!

Well, after a week delay, Connor has finally entered the world.  Not like he had a choice because we had to pull him outta there.  He was born on December 4th at 5:10PM weighing in at 8lbs even and measuring 20 inches long.  Both Amanda and Connor are doing very well and they want to thank everyone for the support and encouragement that everyone has been providing.  Both of them will be in the hospital until Friday so they can recover before coming home.  Amanda is a little tender but getting better every day.  Connor just wants to eat and sleep but he's doing great.  So, here are the pictures that everyone wants and I'll try to update the website as much as I can.  Thanks and talk to you guys soon!

November 27th, 2006

Connor is not coming out ever!!!!  Amanda had another Dr. appointment today, and he said that Connor is way up there and there is no sign of him making his way out.  So, she has to go back tomorrow for an ultrasound and a stress test, just to make sure everything is alright and to see how big he really is (I say close to 15lbs.)  If he doesn't come out this week, we have a induction scheduled for Monday, December 4th.  We'll make sure to keep everyone updated.
