It's been awhile since I updated this page, but not much has happened recently to the house.  I did do some different landscaping in front of the house, but that's about it.  So here's a pic of the front of the house.  Just to rub it in, this picture was taken at the end of January when it was in the 80's.  Can't beat the weather, but you can beat the prices.

Oh yeah, I forgot, new garage door too!

Blue Ridge Court Christmas Party

Last night was the annual Blue Ridge Court Christmas Party.  It was a great time for all the neighbors to get together and spread the Holiday spirit.  This block is awesome, I still can't believe how well everyone gets along with each other.  As for the Christmas party, we had a deep fried turkey meal with a bunch of other side dishes, a White elephant gift exchange and Santa Karaoke at the Canyon Inn across the street from us.  We had a really good time and it was good to get out of the house for a little bit too.  So, here's some pics of the party.

So, I finally took some more pictures of the outside of the house.  The painters have come through and finished most of the place, but I think they still need to do some touch-ups. 

This weekend Amanda's dad, Bobby, and I installed the rest of the ceiling fans and lights in the bedrooms.  What a pain in the ASS!  We finally ended up getting it done with a 54 inch long drill bit.  But it's finally done, right before Connor comes.  Perfect timing!

Here's a shot of the kitchen too.  We changed it up a little bit.

October 29th, 2006

So, after two weeks of being in the new house, we have most of our stuff finally put away.  There are just a couple boxes left to put away and the garage to organize, but who knows how long that will take.  Tomorrow we're going to look at some new furniture for the living room, and get rid of the bachelor pad couches that Amanda hates so much. 

Other than that, we have been getting used to our own home.  Yesterday, we had a Neighborhood Brunch BBQ with everyone on the block.  It was a good time to sit down and talk with all the neighbors and and get adapted to the block. 

Tomorrow, the painters are starting to power wash the house and then hopefully on Tuesday or Wednesday they'll start painting.  The house needs it!  So, I took pictures of the outside of the house today to so everyone can have a look before it's painted.  Then I'll post pictures after it's all down.

Here's just a couple more quick pictures from the house.  These don't have the best lighting, and it's messy, so we'll take some better ones later this week and post them up later.

Connor's room is all set up and we are just anticipating his arrival!
